We grow with zero pesticide residues

We follow Integrated Plant Production standards and test every batch for pesticide residues, heavy metals and substances harmful to health.

We spray only where needed

The Ecorobotix ARA spot sprayer, one of only three machines like it in Poland, recognises weeds with its cameras and cuts chemical rates by about 70%.

We scan every onion

The DOWNS CropVision optical sorter checks each onion in 360 degrees and rejects stones, soil clods and onions with defects.

Frequently asked questions

We plant them from small bulbs (sets) instead of seeds. That head start means they grow faster and come off the field in early summer, weeks before spring-sown onions.

From early summer. They open our onion season, then we move on to spring-sown onions and stored produce. That way we have onions all year round.

We mostly grow Takmark, Comae, Kristine, Medusa and Bonus. From red sets we grow Red Baron and Ruby Star.
